Job Description

Description:

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for completing monitoring all account processed to ensure that the products being delivered meet the standards outlined within the policy and procedures.  This position also serves as the training and development coaches.  It also may require other duties as assigned by the department manager.  

 

Major Position Responsibilities:

  • Reviews current processes and identifies trends.
  • Analyzes work produced for errors.
  • Reviews for performance standards (SLAs) required under contract.
  • Compares various sampling techniques and identifies correct samples for auditing.
  • Evaluates workflow tools and run reports.
  • Coaches on business process knowledge.
  • Reconciles transaction processing for data accuracy. 
  • Additional duties may be assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Strong knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge related to medical and health care practices.
  • Claims experience

  • Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem solving skills.
  • Be able to work under pressure and with little supervision.
  • Must be able to work overtime when required.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and directions.
  • Personal computer experience using Windows and Microsoft programs
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Must have good organizational skills and decision-making ability.
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
  • Excellent attendance required.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge related to medical and health care practices.
