Job Summary:
The “IT Manager” supports the delivery of services to end-clients. The IT Manager is responsible for managing support activities for assigned program/s. Activities may include supporting the resolution of Incidents in production, oversee the coordinating activities between the different service groups (3-5 local Conduent Technical Service groups and ITS resources) in support of development and production tasks.
This position is located at our 9601 Amberglen Blvd., Austin, TX office and will report directly to the Director of Service Delivery and Operations, ITS, Client Applications - Transportation TTDU .
Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Local Site Support:
    • Manage local IT and facility support for multiple large call centers, remote walk-in-centers, transponder distribution facility, finance, quality assurance, image review, violations and correspondence departments.
    • Support desktops of call center and operations folks across multiple sites
    • Directly manage production control, reports, testing, and LAN support teams.
  • Tolling operations:
    • Provide information, respond to inquiries, and make recommendations regarding infrastructure for tolling systems, front and back end processing.
    • Provide support through investigation and resolution of infrastructure related issues impacting processing, or handling of customer data; management of client and staff access and use of CRM (Vector) and related systems (e.g. Crystal Reports and Tableau); work directly with agencies on system integration between agencies and the program.
    • Provide change control management by collecting, prioritizing, and presenting infrastructure changes to clients and operations for review, approval, and scheduling; communicate plans for implementation, deployment, and impact.
    • Monitor transaction processing by establishing monitoring tools as necessary and utilization of queries and reporting tools to resolve issues with other Inter-Agency Group members, lane vendors, and other outside agents.
  • Data Center Operations:
    • Ensure data center performance meets program requirements
    • Work with data center operations teams (including Vendors) to ensure system availability; plan and coordinate system maintenance and upgrades.
  • Systems Development:
    • Work with development and finance teams to ensure procurement of hardware, software, and appropriate licenses required to support ongoing business activities.
    • Ensure that the program is compliant with internal and external technology and security standards, PCI, and SOC1 as well. Maintain policies and procedures for systems access and utilization and ensure compliance to meet program standards.
    • Work with Vendors and internal resources to develop quotes, manage upgrades, and systems support.
    • Should have knowledge of, or experience with, Software Development Life-Cycles, Systems Design, Project Management, Desktop Support, Production Control, Networking, Telecommunications, and related tools. Ability to communicate well both oral and written is required.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Technical bachelor’s degree desired or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years working in a support role for production applications
  • Minimum of 2 years supervising support resources either as direct resources or through vended SLA agreements, either on and offshore
  • Experience working with and understanding servers and networks
  • Technical understanding of OS capabilities for Windows and/or Linux
  • Networking capabilities
  • Monitoring capabilities
  • Experience supporting and/or implementing PCI and SOX compliant ITIL based processes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and activities in a highly dynamic and fast pace environment
  • Must be currently eligible to work in the USA for any employer
  • Must consent to, and successfully clear all required pre-employment screenings
  • Experience working and leading resources on/offshore
  • Experience leading first/second level support resources
  • Experience supporting SDLC for large applications
  • Proficient in data analysis for trending analysis
  • Proficient in MS Office products
  • Experience working with vendors for contracting resources
  • Experience supporting and/or implementing PCI and SOX compliant ITIL based processes
