The Sales Director is responsible for leading sales of the Commercial Healthcare Solutions business. The ideal candidate will have well established industry relationships within the Healthcare industry, an analytical mindset with awareness of key marketplace trends, as well as a proven track record of building engaged and innovative sales teams.

The successful candidate will bring strong Healthcare and Managed Care industry knowledge, possess Business Process Services selling experience including the ability to drive the selling process, bridge requirements across the sales support and operations to develop winning bids. 

Responsibilities, include:

  • Working in support of a Healthcare leader, development of sales strategy for unit portfolio that contributes to strategic vision and positioning in the market.
  • Applying thought leadership and strategic thinking to identify and conceptualize prioritize and lead cross functional processes focused on improving efficiency and effectiveness of the sales organization from opportunity development, solutioning, to contract closure.
  • Lead the sales team in developing a strategic road map that will drive revenue and improve market share.
  • Leverage industry deep Healthcare Payer industry expertise to build and develop relationships, representing the organization with key customers and industry stakeholders.
  • Develop strong business relationships with the key internal business partners to understand and deliver on their needs, as well as drive their engagement with our sales strategy, tools and systems.

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business.
  • 8+ years in Sales leader role.
  • 12+ years’ experience in sales (national sales or global sales).
  • Managing to and achieving team quotas of $100M.
  • Expertise selling Business Process Outsourcing (BPO/BPS) services to health plans and Managed Care Organizations (MCO).
  • Consultative Sales success of BPaaS and SaaS solutions.
  • A successful track record of delivering exceptional revenue performance.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects or work streams simultaneously.
  • Flexibility during times of change and open to multiple points of view and possible solutions.
  • Awareness of key marketplace and industry trends relative to customer and consumer behavior.
  • Strong knowledge of sales systems, processes and databases.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in a highly matrixed, global team environment.

Required Leadership Skills 

  • Extensive business acumen and global experience with a sustained record of business aligned strategies and solutions that drive improved business performance. 
  • Highly collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively and drive cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment and build successful relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Experience successfully interacting, presenting to, and influencing senior leadership.
