FLSA status:              Non Exempt

The medical bill processor is responsible for the audit of individual medical bills to ensure compliance with jurisdictional guidelines, state fee structures, as well as client specific guidelines

Process UB bills all states

demonstrated mastery of processing rules

demonstrated understanding of bill review guidelines and procedures

accountability for assigned customer(s) results, productivity and quality
6.
ensure authorization action is applied appropriately
7.
compare qualifications of service provider with service rendered
8.
Identifies problems, communicates internally with other StrataWare Groups to ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns; Escalates more complex problems to the next level.
9.
Provides the highest level of customer service to customers, whether these are current or prospective clients of the Company, vendors, staff, business partners or visitors.
10.
Manages confidential client, financial and employee information with discretion and good judgment in accordance with department and Company guidelines.
11.
Demonstrates a dependable work ethic.


1.
Minimum HCFA bill processing standards:
a.
75% of production expectation by (60) days from hire
b.
100% of production expectations by (90) days from hire
2.
Minimum UB bill processing standards:
a.
75% of production expectation by (60) days from hire
b.
100% of production expectations by (90) days from hire
3.
Minimum processing rules mastery:
a.
Complete California certification, as required by Management
b.
Competency of (1) fee schedule jurisdiction within (30) days from hire
c.
Competency of fee schedule guidelines for all assigned states within (90) days from hire
4.
Maintain a monthly average of 97% bill accuracy rate by (90) days from hire
5.
Demonstrate understanding of bill review guidelines and procedures within (90) days of hire
6.
Assist in processing bills within five (5) business days of their receipt by Bunch and be accountable for assigned customer(s) results, productivity and quality
