•Responsible for planning and designing enterprise-wide business solutions for external customers.
A Business Analyst/Product Owner is the bridge of communication between client and development. The Business Analyst/Product Owner must guide the client to define solution requirements, maintain the product backlog and drive product improvement. The successful candidate will also be able to translate client requirements into technical specifications
The ideal candidate can think critically, creatively and abstractly. He or she should be able to synthesize differing points of view and to accept and incorporate feedback effectively. An understanding of project management, assisting or leading systems implementations and other relevant technical foundations are a plus.
Other duties include researching use cases, creating system documentation; assisting with project implementation, including training and providing user support.
Work with the product team to create product vision and roadmaps that reflect the Business goals and strategy.
Collaborate with key stakeholders, including product management, project management, operations and account management to identify define and break down complex requirements into achievable user stories.
Manage the product backlog, prioritizing user stories to drive the greatest business value aligned with broader strategic goals.
Perform business analysis functions, including enlisting documenting and prioritizing new product capabilities and functionality.
Ability to express thoughts, arguments, and ideas clearly and effectively through verbal and written communication.
Lead through influence in both technical and business settings.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Health Care Administration, Business Administration or other related field; or equivalent or relevant work experience (desire can be substitute with experience in the job).
Master’s degree in Business Administration or Computer science are a plus.
Has substantial IT experience, plus experience in business systems analysis, process engineering and process/organizational transformation and some experience in project management desirable.
Minimum is familiar with the software engineering life cycle for development and the concepts and practices required to implement effective information systems. Possesses a broad understanding of business and business skills.
Minimum has a good understanding of business process improvement, benefit and risk management, and software testing, and of all testing events throughout the development lifecycle.
Minimum takes a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving and pays close attention to detail.
Business Analyst or Product Owners, Experienced desire.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Workers Compensation and Insurance experience are a plus.
