Finance Director


•Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and review of financial policies, plans, procedures, analyses and controls. Typical areas include accounting, planning and forecasting, payroll, treasury, audit and taxation.

•The primary objective of the role is to support the assigned business segment or geography in achieving its business and financial objectives by providing financial leadership and governance.  Key metrics of success include the current and long-term effectiveness and efficiency of all financial functions, as well as the overall financial performance of the opcos.  Specifics may include business reporting, budgetary control, internal control financial planning, asset management, deal pricing, business case development, financial/fiduciary responsibilities and contact management.

General Scope:

•Develops, adapts and executes organizational strategy to achieve key business objectives.
•Decisions are guided by organizational strategies and objectives
•Generally includes international and/or global accountability
•Progression to this level is typically restricted based on business requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

•Provide finance functional leadership to finance resources in the business unit or geography.
•Drive financial and operational performance and accountability throughout the organization including the development and execution of global strategic plans and initiatives
•Establishes, implements, and manages the business unit or geographies financial-management structure and processes; including planning, controls and standards, preparing and interpreting financial reports, and safeguarding the organization's assets.
•Accountable for business results though the provision of finance and commercial expertise & advice to business unit or geography senior leadership team to support the achievement of business goals.
•May assume a significant  leadership role in product portfolio planning and business case justification by ensuring that all future products produce at least the same or greater gross margin than the products they are replacing.
•Management of P&L targeting, planning,  reporting and analysis activities for business unit or geography.
•Assists in long-range strategic planning, and advises management on financial-performance of the Operation.

•Recruits, develops, leads, mentors and coaches to create and retain a high performing team of senior financial professionals.

•May perform in a business process re-engineering and change management role across the global enterprise



Bachelor's Degree in business management, finance, accounting, or related field.

*       FL CPA

*       5 + years Experience in a Senior Finance position.
